Claiming 20 Free Spins at UK Licensed Casinos

What the 20 free spins actually give you

The bonus consists of twenty individual spins on a designated slot, most commonly NetEnt's Starburst. Each spin is treated as a separate bet, meaning the statutory stake cap applies to every single spin rather than the whole session. If you hit a win, the amount is added to your cash balance, but you cannot withdraw it until you have met the 10x wagering condition on the value of the free spins.

For example, if the total value of the twenty spins is £10, you will need to wager £100 before any winnings can be cashed out. The operator records the wagering progress automatically, and once the requirement is fulfilled the balance becomes eligible for withdrawal. Typical processing times for UK-licensed sites are two to three working days after a withdrawal request, provided you have satisfied the identity checks.

Who can claim the spins and what you must verify

The offer is open to anyone aged 18 or over who can provide a valid UK address and a government-issued ID. During registration you will be asked for your name, date of birth and proof of residence. The UK Gambling Commission requires that the same documents be submitted before any withdrawal is processed, so keep a copy of your passport or driving licence handy.

Players aged 25 and over enjoy a £5 maximum stake per spin, while those between 18 and 24 are limited to £2. This cap is enforced by the casino software and cannot be overridden. If you attempt to place a higher bet, the spin will be rejected and no credit will be given. Meeting these age-based limits is essential to avoid a breach of the Social Responsibility Code.

Step-by-step: claim your 20 free spins

1. Create an account: Visit a UKGC-licensed casino, click the sign-up button and fill in your personal details. Use a UK residential address and a valid email.
2. Verify your identity: Upload a scanned copy of your passport or driving licence and a recent utility bill. The verification is usually completed within a few hours.
3. Enter the promo code: After logging in, go to the Promotions page, type in the required code (if applicable) and confirm. The 20 spins will appear in your bonus balance instantly.
4. Play the eligible slot: Open the designated game, set your stake between £2 and £5 depending on age, and start spinning. Each win is added to your cash balance but remains locked until the wagering is met.
5. Clear the wagering: Continue playing any qualifying spin until the 10x requirement is satisfied. The casino tracks progress automatically; you can view it in the bonus history section.
6. Withdraw your winnings: Once the requirement is cleared, request a withdrawal. Provide the same ID documents used during registration, and expect the funds within 2-3 working days.
